How to compare different netbook computers

When netbook computers first launched there was only really one, and that was the Asus Eee PC. It was and still is very small, simple, and a really cheap netbooks. This netbook laptop has actually been singled out as the netbook laptop that began the whole scene and actually created a new market. However, since then almost every manufacturer including: Acer, Samsung, HP, Dell, Toshiba, LG, Lenovo, and MSI have started their own netbook computers to try and capture some of this monumental market growth.

Although so many manufacturers entering the market is a good thing for the comsumer as it creates competition ensuring that netbook computers keep progressing technologically, as well as prices remain cheap, it has also led to a lot of consumer confusion as to how to choose a netbook laptop. This is where comparing netbooks comes in.

Luckily almost all netbook manufacturers use a similar lingo when talking about netbook specifications and this makes comparing them a lot simpler. When comparing netbook computers it is crucial to make sure that you are comparing like for like products and features. So the best thing to do when comparing netbook computers, is to choose a set of things that are important to you and compare two, or three, netbooks along this set of features. Typical features to compare between include the price, screen size (very important for most people), RAM memory, storage, operating system, and battery life (another important point).
You will notice that all the things above that are being compared are factual. It is very difficult to compare along features such as the cometics, as this is a matter of opinion. One person may like a netbook laptop which is shiny or even pink, while another will prefer matted.

We hope that this article has made the task of comparing netbook computers easier for you.
